Can you imagine having this view every day? A medieval Tuscan town....

June 05, 2015 in Landscape Paintings

This was the view we had everyday from our villa in Tuscany, the medieval town of Pienza with its golden brown brick buildings and orange tile roofs. Then there are the silver olive trees and spiky green cypress trees.   This was the vacation home of long dead popes.  I wanted to paint it every day, but there were so many other wonderful places to paint too.
