Wisteria Bridge 5 X 7 Oil by Ann McCann (c) 2015

The wisteria were blooming when we painted in Monet's garden in Giverny, France....

July 01, 2015 in Landscape Paintings

I painted a series of paintings in January about my trip to Monet's garden in 2012.  I sold 2 and there are 2 left.  This one is of the bridge over his famous water lily pond next to a beautiful willow tree.  It was covered with blooming wisteria when we visited.  We were able to paint there for several hours, and it was an awesome experience!  I painted this with a palette knife.
