Red Rock Country (c) Ann McCann 2015

Abiqiui, the home of Georgia OKeeffe and mouth dropping rock formations... by Ann McCann

June 17, 2015 in Landscape Paintings

This was painted at the "Ampitheater" rock formation across the highway from Ghost Ranch. It is a secluded, beautiful place.  The red rock formations with pinks, roses, salmon were stunning and so fun to paint.  I painted it onsite and then completed it with a palette knife in the studio.
