I had so much fun creating my various small hibiscus paintings, I decided to go for some large ones. Here is the beginning of my orange hibiscus painting. I achieved a lot of depth in the center where the long pistal/stamen will go. I also like the zip of the complement colors in the background, blues and purples. Stay tuned for the final painting.
