This dandelion is spreading its seed pods to the wind. They may come to your yard! There are lots of silver sparkles here that don’t show in the photo.

I painted this 9 X 12” plein air oil in the wildflower fields behind the George Bush Library. The flowers are fire wheel, horsemint (a type of bee balm) and basket flower. The color palette is unusual but it really works!
