A local store sells giant white hydrangeas with a secret recipe for making them last as long as two weeks. Mine are still going strong now at one week. So, I have been painting them. Here is my first version.

After being on the high Texas desert in Marfa, I wanted to capture the size of the landscape. It is big! This long canvas conveys the length and depth of the scene. And, the big Texas sky.
