I am finishing this painting for a local exhibition on travel. I have had this image in my mind since our trip to Paris over 5 years ago. Can’t wait to travel again!

A local store sells giant white hydrangeas with a secret recipe for making them last as long as two weeks. Mine are still going strong now at one week. So, I have been painting them. Here is my first version.

After being on the high Texas desert in Marfa, I wanted to capture the size of the landscape. It is big! This long canvas conveys the length and depth of the scene. And, the big Texas sky.

This scene is the town square in Orleans, MA, Cape Cod. They have wonderful flowers every summer. I painted this for a show that was entitled “All We Need is Love,” and I love Cape Cod!
