“Quince Vision” 9 X 12” Oil
These two paintings are currently for sale at the Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas. They are full of color, light and hints of spring. They would make quite a splash displayed together!

I have two paintings in this show, a watercolor and an oil. Please come to see my interpretations of love. I will be there until the awards show is over after 2:00 pm.
I painted with the Outdoor Painters Society last weekend in Glen Rose. This park overlooks the Paluxy River, and the left shore is covered with giant boulders. I chose to mostly paint the river that was glittering in the morning sun. It was 39 degrees when we started!
I painted plein air in Glen Rose this weekend with the Outdoor Painters Society. This is a 19th century home relocated to the Heritage Park from downtown Glen Rose. It was so cute.
I created this rose after taking a course with Pamela Harnois. Its a unique take on painting this flower, quite abstract but unmistakably a rose.
I had to make many peonies until I got one that I really liked. This is it! I hope it makes you smile and feel warm all over.
This flower garden is in the center of Orleans in Cape Cod. I captured the scene from above so the flowers were exploding in my face. You can sit on a bench there and watch the flowers for hours.
The first color pop of spring is the quince bush if you live in an old Dallas neighborhood, with bright red and maroon. These would literally glow on your wall.
Needless to say, I am thrilled by this award received last weekend. This is a scene from an old neighborhood in Jerusalem. The geraniums there grow on vines that drape the buildings. I loved the old arched windows and stone walls.
Let me know if you are interested in any of the paintings, and I will give you the details.
This is a conifer tree at White Rock Lake that turns “red” every fall. I have expanded the meaning of red! This painting is available at the Dutch Art Gallery. https://dutchartgallery.net
What fun to do a night painting. It made me think of the Moody Blues poem “Cruel Orb of the Night, who removes the color from our sight.” However, there is lots of color here!
Love sunflowers? Love teal blue mason jars? Here is the painting for you with a lot of extra flowers thrown in for more color.
