This painting has been in my private collection for a while. However, it is time to make room for new paintings, so I am offering this painting for sale. Guaranteed to keep you cool in our hot Texas summers!
I have been itching to paint fall colors and found this red/orange tree on White Rock Lake. I added every red-related color I could think of.

These roses were blooming on a stone cottage wall on the Isle of Skye when I visited there a year ago. The reds and pinks glowed against the white stone and grey Scottish mist. This is painted on a canvas gallery wrap which is also painted on the sides.
I chose this scene because of the hollyhocks, but then I fell in love with the fence. It is that teal green color often used for ironwork but with all the spots of rust and various pastel colors from paint chips and corrosion.

These flowers are the staple of gardens in Santa Fe. You always see beautiful turquoise doors with red hollyhocks growing beside them. These hollyhocks are thickly painted with various shades of pink and white.

This field of zinnias was at Wild Seed Farm in Frederickson, Texas. I was there in September 2019 for a plein air painting contest, and it was 100 degrees! The zinnias seemed to love the Texas heat. A frame is also available.

This gothic stairway is in the Edinburgh city park. I painted it when I was in Scotland last year. The flowers in the park were gorgeous. The pink flowers and the green grass were so bold against the grey stones and rainy Scottish skies. A frame is also available.

Give them my name and the name of the painting. I really appreciate it!!
Here is a second flower painting on gold gesso. The gold shines randomly throughout the painting, especially around the flowers. The various colors of the roses remind me of confetti. This is a very happy painting.
This painting is all about flowers, the roses in the vase, the flowers on the French chair and the suggestion of a rose bush in the background. It feels soft and invites you in.
I painted this iris still life on top of a gold gesso layer. The gold shines randomly throughout the painting, especially among the iris. Petals fall from the bouquet and drift down on the table. This for all you iris lovers!
