Fall comes late to Dallas, but it is here now in my neighborhood. This tree is red and gorgeous as it towers over the 100 year old homes.

I captured these yummy orange sherbet hibiscus in Cape Cod. Although this painting looks like a pastel, it really is an oil. I created this effect by toning the canvas with a dark color and then adding pastel colors with a lot of white in them. This painting is available at the Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas.
